I have studied Northern Michigan for over 20 years, studied the colors of the water, the changes of the seasons and have tried my hardest to hold each moment in. I work out of my backyard and garage but I use the photos and memories I have of each location to paint. Impressionist paintings filled with large globs of paint and thick brushstrokes. I started this business with the hope of painting as a profession and the longer time goes on that idea stretches and shifts. I love the idea of working with repurposed fibers, fabrics and yarns. I also hope to expand and have a studio shop space by 2025. Stay tuned!
